There are different ways to see something and to unsee it. The artist can play games of trickery to make one think something is in fact something else, challenging the audience to decode and take on the task of forensic art making. Posters are a type of found image. So are pieces of color craft paper. The object, either found or made of layers of making, reveals and hides its own history while the viewer names it. Much like the cut outs or un-paintings making things that flip flop in the eye or the mind make me laugh and think but never at the same time.
